2009 Young Lions Graduate in Style - Dec 2, 2009

The Young Lions Graduation was held on 2nd December 2009 at a lovely venue provided by program sponsor McConnell Dowell. The Young Lions arrived looking stunning and feeling very nervous.

The evening began with lovely finger food and an opportunity for the Young Lions to introduce their friends and family. The room was displayed with photos of the all the camps the Young Lions attended, some artwork they had made throughout the year and t-shirts designed for the camps.

For the Senior Young Lions this was their final year in the program and they will be moving on to bigger and better opportunities, some have finished studying and would like to travel, some have aspirations to find employment and others will be taking some time out after working very hard over the last two years. For the others, this is their first year of Young Lions completed, and they are extremely excited about moving onto becoming 'seniors' next year.

The night continued with a lovely display of the National Camp footage with lots of laughs and even some tears, the footage ended with some farewell messages to the Senior Young Lions. It was then time for the Young Lions to receive their certificates, presented by Colorado Chairman Bob Dalziel. This moment was a proud time for all, especially the Young Lions, and Whitelion staff. The evening ended with all enjoying a nice warm night spent on the balcony taking lots of photos, to a farewell celebration.
