Whitelion is a not-for-profit organisation established and incorporated in 1999, endorsed as an Income Tax Exempt Charitable Entity and a Deductible Gift Recipient. Support Office is based in Parkville, Melbourne, and we also have offices throughout VIC, TAS, SA and most recently in NSW.
"Whitelion provides a great service to the Victorian community as it reconnects troubled young people with their local communities to prevent re-offending and more importantly works closely with disconnected young people to prevent them from offending in the first place. It is in everyone’s interest to keep young people out of the criminal justice system if at all possible. Whitelion makes a significant and valuable contribution to this end."
"As a policeman and as a father, I know how important it is for young people to have a strong positive role model to guide them through life’s challenges. I commend Whitelion’s approach of one-on-one mentoring and believe the positive impact Whitelion’s mentors will have on these young people will remain with them for life." (Simon Overland, Victoria Police Chief Commissioner 2011)
