Whitelion is looking for an experienced leader to lead our committed team working towards a world where no young person is left behind.
The essential criteria for this role is someone who has at least five years in senior management roles in an organisation of a similar size and scope, and who has demonstrated experience with building strong networks with sector and government stakeholders.
You will have a growth mindset with an appetite to grow our footprint and revenue for long term sustainability and impact. The State Manager is a member of the National Operations Management Team, as well as being a key member of the organisation’s Senior Leadership Team.
Based in Sydney’s western and southwestern suburbs,the role has overall strategic and operational leadership of the NSW team with the following objectives:
- Develop and support staff
- Contribute to building a national organisation
- Lead the development of grants and tenders
- Build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of external stakeholders
- Budget and contract performance
- Evidence informed program practice and evaluation
- Support the national office with fundraising and events in NSW
