The role

The Ramp initiative is an exciting joint program between Whitelion and Reach Foundation, combining mentoring with experiential group activities for young people living in residential care, aged 13-18 years old. Whitelion is seeking an experienced, qualified and motivated worker to join the Ramp Mentoring Program.

This varied, hands-on role would suit a person with an understanding of Victoria’s Youth Justice and Child Protection systems, experience in supporting volunteers, and a demonstrated commitment to working with disadvantaged young people. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Youth Work or similar fields is required. This position includes some out of hours work.

Conditions: Part time – contract (6 months) SCHADS Level 3.2
