Realising the Success of Our Mergers.

Whitelion merged with prevention-focussed organisations Stride Foundation and Youth Connect between 2014 and 2016. These mergers resulted from a great synergy between the school-based early intervention career and life skills education programs offered by the Stride and Youth Connect, and Whitelion’s intensive support employment placement programs.  Now, these school-based prevention programs are all delivered under Whitelion’s Stride Brand.
 
In 2016 Whitelion delivered its first Dare2B Youth Conference – a great culmination of the mergers, which brought together the original concept from Youth Connect, Stride staff and workshops, and Whitelion leadership for an incredible event with around 300 young people in attendance. Dare2B inspires young people to achieve their educational and career goals, and addresses risk factors for early school disengagement.  The 2017 Dare2B Youth Conference will be held on July 27th.
